What happens to the information you send us
This describes what actually happens when you use the contact form on this site — not a legal policy, just an accurate account of our own data practice.
What we collect
When you submit the contact form, we collect the name and email address you provide, the message itself, and the IP address your request came from.
Why
Your name, email, and message are used to read and respond to what you sent. The IP address is used only to limit automated spam and abuse of the form — it isn't used for anything else.
Where it's stored
Submissions are stored in Turso, a hosted database provider. A copy of your name, email, and message is also sent to us as a notification email through Resend, an email delivery provider. The site itself runs on Cloudflare, which — like any web host — processes standard connection information (including IP addresses) to serve the page at all. These three providers are the only parties involved in running this site; none of them are given your information for any purpose beyond what's described here.
How long it's kept
Right now, indefinitely — there's no automatic deletion process in place yet. If you'd like your submission removed sooner, see "Requesting deletion" below.
Who can see it
Only VantriqSec. Your information is never sold or shared with any third party beyond the infrastructure providers named above, who process it solely to make the site and the notification email work.
Requesting deletion
Email hello@vantriqsec.comand ask. There's no self-service deletion tool yet, so this is handled manually on request.
